EVIDENCES OF A DIVINE ORDER

I Corinthians 14:33

July 6, 2014

From Genesis to Revelation, Divine order is evident.

The Lord gave order to the universe during creation.

The Lord established order as He ordained the home and marriage.

The Lord gave Aaron and his sons the order when the tabernacle was erected.

Divine order is much more than structure and organization. It brings confidence and direction to our lives.

The order of some things recorded in the gospel of Matthew:

1. BEFORE WE WORSHIP WE NEED TO GET RIGHT WITH OUR BROTHER - Matthew 5:23-24

2. BEFORE MATERIAL THINGS WE NEED TO PUT SPIRITUAL THINGS FIRST - Matthew 6:33

3. BEFORE WE TRY TO JUDGE ANYONE ELSE WE MUST FIRST JUDGE OURSELVES - Matthew 7:1-5

4. BEFORE THE OUTSIDE THE INSIDE MUST BE FIRST - Matthew 23:25-26

What evidence should be found in our lives to give indication that we are walking in divine order?

I- WALKING WITH A MOLDABLE HEART

Psalm 119:133, "Order my steps in Thy word..."

A. Order your steps that reflects your ACTIONS—Psalm 1:1

Psalms 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD.”

B. Order your standing that represents your ASSOCIATIONS—Psalm 1:1

C. Order your sitting that reveals your ATTITUDE—Psalm 1:1

II- WORKING WITH A MEEK HEART

II Kings 20:1, "...set thine house in order..."

II Chronicles 32:25 "..his heart was lifted up."

Hebrews 11:34 "out of weakness were made strong."

            2 Corinthians 12:9, 10

III- WORSHIPING WITH A MERRY HEART

I Corinthians 14:40, "let all things be done decently and in order."

                Job 1:20.

A. The Savior is adored by our Genuine Worship

B. The saint is blessed in our Genuine Worship

                Luke 24:52-53; Acts 16:25.

C. The sinner is reached through Genuine Worship

                Acts 16:30.

Conclusion: Is your life is out of order? Listen, Divine order produces walking with a moldable heart,

working with a meek heart, and worshiping with a merry heart.
